Golf Academy Teaching Professional ![]() Playing his first round of golf at the age of 15, Chu Han found his passion. After graduating Bradley University with a bachelor in Science in 1995, Chu Han realized that he wanted to pursue a golf career therefore attended and graduated from the Professional Golfers Career College in Temecula, CA. Currently as his personal goal, he is in process of obtaining his PGA membership. Since then Chu Han has taught for 15 years, five of those years are at Sportsman Country Club. Previous employment also includes Ruffle Feathers Country Club and Geneva National Country Club. Chu Han’s teaching focuses on the fundamentals of the golf swing. In teaching Juniors, Chu Han truly believes that many life lessons can come from golf. In order for him to support them in achieving their goals, he incorporates work ethics, dedication and perseverance in his teachings. He also tries to drive his students to their potential in order to provide them every opportunity possible, whether it’s for college or in their future life. In consistently finding new and better ways to teach golf, he attends the PGA Teaching Summits and teaching/training seminars. When Chu Han is not teaching, he is avidly playing and participating in golf tournaments. He has qualified and participated in the IL Open for the past 10 years, and has been a participant of the US Open Sectionals. Competing in tournaments drives him to be a better golfer and teacher.
